Quality

AQUA Myrgorod DETOX complies with the Directive No 2009/54/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 June 2009 on the exploitation and marketing of natural mineral waters; Commission Directive No 2003/40/EC of 16 May 2003 establishing the list, concentration limits and labeling requirements for the constituents of natural mineral waters and the conditions for using ozone-enriched air for the treatment of natural mineral waters and spring waters; Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs.

Certification is carried out by scheme No 3 (evaluation of products and production process). The manufacturing process and the product are regularly checked by the accredited certification center "Baltsert" (once a year during action of the certificate of conformity).

History

The Myrgorod region is known in Ukraine and beyond for its mineral and drinking waters, which have been sourced from wells located in the resort town for over 100 years.

This region of the country is truly unique. Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic sediments make up the geological structure of the subsoil, and the well reaches a depth of almost 700 m.

Natural mineral water is drawn from a well 695 m deep, situated in the central part of the Dnieper-Donetsk depression, within the Dnieper artesian basin, and associated with Lower Cretaceous and Cenomanian deposits

As it rises to the surface, the mineral water passes through several natural stages of purification, absorbing minerals along the way. To preserve its healing properties, the water is bottled directly at the source.

Thanks to its unique composition, Myrgorod mineral water has been used to treat over 100 conditions. Before the war, people from 30 countries came to Myrgorod seeking treatment for disorders of the stomach, intestines, liver, as well as diabetes, heart disease, and joint conditions.
